Hmm, we always thought the Doctor and the Daleks were the fiercest enemies imaginable. After all, many episodes of the British TV cult classic Doctor Who revolve around the battle between the Time Lord and the ruthless killing machines. So, what could've led these two to work together?
The answer is simple: They both want to save Earth and its environment. The first steps towards this goal are the Doctor Who Bamboo Tumblers. These drinking vessels hold 710 ml (Are they bigger on the inside) and show the TARDIS and a shiny Dalek – so both environmentalists and Whovians can get behind this project ;). We still aren't entirely sure why the Daleks are nice all of a sudden, but you don't look a gift horse in the mouth, right?
You might be wondering: What's a Bamboo cup? Well, the answer is rather simple: bamboo cups are mainly made out of chopped and finely ground bamboo fibres. This mixture is heated up and poured into the desired form. Once cooled down, the material has a similar strength and rigidity to that of plastic. In addition, the cups are biodegradable, shatterproof, BPA free and eco-friendly. You can even put them in the dishwasher! However, we don't recommend using them with a microwave. After all, you wouldn't use a piece of bamboo in a microwave, would you?!
