Auf Pandora gibt es Wüste, Banditen und ungefähr eine Institution, die beides überlebt: Moxxxi's, die Bar von Mad Moxxi. Wer in den Borderlands-Spielen nach einer durchwachsenen Schießerei irgendwo ankommen will, kommt dort an.

Der Borderlands Flaschenöffner Mad Moxxi bringt das Barschild mit nach Hause: das geschwungene Logo in Gelb und Pink, darunter die Wirtin selbst mit Zylinder, Feder und rot getuschten Wangen. Gegossen ist er aus Zinklegierung, das Motiv ist in Emaille und Druck ausgeführt. Auf der Rückseite sitzt ein Magnet, damit er zwischen zwei Runden an der Kühlschranktür wartet, und einer ihrer bekannten Sprüche steht dort ebenfalls.

Für alle, die Kronkorken mit etwas mehr Auftritt lösen wollen als mit dem Feuerzeug vom Nachbarn.
