Anyone who spends a lot of time at the computer knows how important it is to optimize their working and gaming environment. This also includes a particularly good keyboard. One like Das Keyboard 4 root, which was developed for anyone who places particular value on workmanship and comfort.
Das Keyboard 4 root was developed to complement the well-known and successful Professional series. Like its big brother, it has dedicated multimedia keys, an elegant aluminum design and 2 USB 2.0 ports that allow you to conveniently use USB sticks, charging cables and the like.
Das Keyboard 4 root is available in different variants and layouts so that you can use exactly the keyboard that meets your requirements.

    • However, the most important difference between the models is invisibly built into the keyboard, as this is where the famous Cherry MX switches determine how the keys feel when typing and whether the keyboard is quiet or rather loud, for example:
    • Clicky with Cherry MX Blue Switches: tactile (tactile) switching points, loud clicks: an absolute dream for frequent typists; gamers have to practice a bit first because of the pronounced transition, but won't give the keyboard away afterwards :)

    Your new Das Keyboard 4 root features high-quality mechanical keys with gold contacts for an indescribably good feel. Fatigue-free typing and gaming is no challenge for the Cherry switches.
    The keys of the Keyboard 4 root have laser-engraved lettering and, in addition to the standard keys, there are practical multimedia keys for music control and a separate standby key. A large rotary control allows you to adjust the volume quickly and precisely.
    A red magnetic footrest instead of the usual plastic levers allows the keyboard to be positioned at a 4-degree angle and offers a much more stable stand than usual. You can also remove the baseboard and use it as a ruler. Why can you do this? To quote the manufacturer: Because!
    As befits a proper keyboard, Das Keyboard 4 root also has full n-Key Rollover (NKRO). Up to 6 simultaneously pressed keys are recognized via USB, which offers great advantages for fast typists and especially in games: Pressing Shift and W simultaneously to sprint, reloading your weapon with R while controlling your virtual team with the numeric keypad and calling up the map with M: you can do all this at the same time and without delay. But even writing homework or tax returns becomes a pleasant task with N-key rollover. Well, almost... ;)
    The Keyboard 4 root is connected via USB, for which a 2m long braided cable is available. The housing made of high-quality aluminum and black plastic as well as black keys impresses with its elegant appearance and always cuts a fine figure both at the workplace and next to the gaming computer. The keyboard works with all newer operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux and Mac OS X). All variants have two Windows keys in their own design.
