Description Power Tap USB Charger
In the past (and by that we don't mean the silly "past" when PCs were still huge gray boxes and there were only cell phones instead of smartphones, but the past before widespread electricity supply), there was the superstition that electricity could leak out of sockets and outlets and contaminate homes. During this time, people would have probably longed for "electricity taps" analogous to water taps.
Even though we've overcome this notion of electricity seeping everywhere, a charger in the faucet design is still very practical. On one hand, it looks good. ;) But it also has a useful function: the Power Tap can be plugged into any standard Central European socket. At the front, there is a USB port where all devices like smartphones, cameras, iPods, etc., can be connected via USB cable for charging. The tap also really works: when it's turned sideways, it's closed, and no electricity flows. The ring around the tap glows red. When you turn it "on", electricity flows, and the circle glows blue. This way, you can interrupt the charging process with a simple hand movement without unplugging everything.
For an even nicer effect, the Power Tap is optionally available as a bundle together with the Glowing Charging Cable. You can't visualize electricity flow any clearer; our ancestors would have loved it! Tap off, cable is off, nothing flows; tap on, cable glows, electricity flows. The bundle includes the micro-USB version of the cable, suitable for almost all Android devices.
Now you just have to be careful that your devices don't overflow; you never know, maybe electricity does leave stains...
