Before the first people pull out their torches and light-mist forks to start an angry mob, let us briefly explain what we mean by that: What would have happened if Han Solo hadn't had a Millennium Falcon? Or if the rebels hadn't been able to use X-Wings to attack the Death Star? Right, nothing would have happened.
