Isn't it funny that in almost every SciFi movie, poker is still played with completely normal playing cards? The technology in Star Wars, for example, is so advanced that gigantic spaceships zip through space and lightsabers cut everything into small pieces - and yet the playing cards still look the same as they do today.
Admittedly, the "Star Wars" playing cards are ahead in terms of style: They come in elegant black and white and are delivered in a sturdy metal tin embossed with the likeness of a Stormtrooper. On the individual cards, you will find heroes and villains from the legendary film series, including Luke, Leia, Vader, and R2-D2. Allegedly, the cards are also coated with a special material that prevents the use of the Force to cheat... ;)
