Instead of naming the new elements boringly after their discoverers or after cities and countries - why not simply name them after their effect or importance? The element "Meh" would, for example, probably be of no great significance and relatively uninteresting in its properties. The existence of the element "Uh" would raise quite a few puzzles.
And then there is "Ah", the element that would cause astonishment and surprise. Discovered completely by chance and with a great moment of surprise (and hopefully not because someone stuck their head in the fume hood again).
That way, the periodic table of elements would be much easier to memorize; practically quite comfortably with a cup of coffee.
