The Walkie Talkie wristwatch is the perfect gadget for geo-cachers, larpers and other outdoor enthusiasts who want to communicate with each other in a geeky and free way during their excursions into nature.
With the Walkie Talkie wristwatch, you're not just wearing an ordinary watch, but a radio on your arm! This means you always have both hands free and can be called at any time. In stand-by mode, it shows you the time, and you can switch to walkie-talkie mode at the touch of a button.
The walkie talkie wristwatch comes as Set with two watches to you.
Depending on the environment, their range up to 7km (under ideal conditions...in the field or indoors you should subtract a few hundred meters from this).
Accessories include two pairs of headphones each with a clip for attaching to clothing - in case you don't want everyone else around you to hear what your radio partner has to say.
The Walkie Talkie wristwatch uses the PMR446 (Private Mobile Radio) radio frequency. This has 8 selectable channels and is both registration-free and free of charge. The walkie talkie wristwatch can therefore also be used to communicate with one or more other walkie talkies that use the same frequency.
