Originally, Tum Burton's Beetlejuice was meant to be a dark horror movie. But Michael Keaton's outlandish humour and eccentric personality gave the movie a whole new colouring. The actor had also improvised a great deal of his lines. By now, the horror comedy about the crazy poltergeist and bio-exorcist Beetlejuice has become well-known, among other things for its unusual stop-motion effects and Keaton's performance as Beetlejuice.
