At the same time, it is precisely these qualities that could be Darth Vader's undoing even as a villain, which is why Palpatine urges him to abandon them as soon as possible. Fortunately, we as Star Wars fans are allowed to retain our emotionality, and what could make us more emotional than a detailed and true-to-the-original replica of Darth Vader's lightsabre? The Star Wars The Black Series Darth Vader Force FX Elite Lightsaber looks as real as if it was made by Anakin himself. It is modelled on the weapon he uses to duel his old master at the end of the series "Obi-Wan Kenobi". It not only impresses with its appearance, but also with the original sound effects that can be activated at the touch of a button. However, there is one small but subtle difference to the original. Instead of being powered by the built-in kyber crystal, this lightsaber is powered by 3x AA batteries (not included). If you decide that you'd rather hang up your bad guy act, you can also display the sword on its included display stand on the shelf. Decide for yourself whether you want it with or without a blade. Even the cyber crystal is removable. Besides the normal sound effects, there is even a battle mode available. If you want to test this, however, it is advisable to have equal opponents who are also able to wield a lightsaber.
